My favourite nail polishes!

Aqua Glitter (L) & Racing Green (R)
So, i don't have many BarryM nail varnishes because i was put off them a couple of years ago, but i bought these two recently because BarryM had an offer on and honestly, i'm really impressed! They are really hardwearing and the glitter one especially is a really gorgeous colour, perfect for all seasons. I also think that BarryM are really quite reasonably priced for the amount you get and the variations!

(L-R) Purple-Blue Beetle Juice,  Disco Mix, Gold Finger, Aqua Violet Beetle Juice, Juicy Jules & Utopia.
I think it has to be said that Models Own are my favourite brand of nail varnish, they do some beautiful colours and i love the way they bring out 'collections' such as Beetlejuice collection and Headkandi etc. The formula is really great, they don't chip or bubble perticualry and there hasn't been one that i've been that dissapointed with! Plus i adore the packaging.. aha.

(L-R) Ink Stain, Uptown, Downtown, Lexington Yellow, Water Street Blue, Lavender Cupcake, Fashion Ave. Fuchsia (not pictured)
NYC is one of those brands that just isn't mentioned very often and i'm not really sure why! I love every single nail varnish i've ever bought of theirs but i wish there was a bigger selection, i don't feel like they've brought out that many, i have a few more than these and i feel like i've already got most the colours really! I also love the fact they have really cute NYC names!

Hey guys! Sorry i haven't posted in such a long time, i've been a bit ill with a chest infection and i managed to lose my cable for my camera... As of a few weeks from now i will be attending college so i'm hoping to do a college OOTD for you ideally three times a week! I shall be doing some anyway over the next couple of weeks but it's so easy to get lazy when it's the holidays with style etc so i'll try and make more of an effort! Hope you enjoyed my favourite nail polishes, thankyou! Evexo

Style inspirations A/W 12'

Hello one and all, so heres something a little different today, i thought i would do an 'inspirations' post because i'll be honest, i feel like my summer style differs from my winter style. My taste is evolving all the time and now i'm back in England i suddenly had an urge to throw away anything summery and revert back to black, velvet and leather, terrible i know. Autumn/Winter is oddly by far my favourite season for clothing because i just prefer the looks and clothes! Plus you don't have to worry that you look too pale in your Levi's which is a bloody relief. So here are some of the beautiful women that inspire me for A/W.

For those of you who don't know who this amazing girl is, she's Shenae Grimes from 90210 and i think her style is faultless. I've never seen a photo of her and thought 'Shit what is she wearing?!' She's stunning. Her character on 90210 'Annie' also has impeccable taste, as do all the characters, if i could steal the clothes from any show, hands down it would be 90210. I don't own disco pants but i have two pairs of the legging versions which i adore and have not stopped wearing since i got them, i also LOVE cropped jumpers, i have about 5 now and it's August.. but when is the weather ever hotter than jumper weather, really?!

On to the beautiful, British Fearne Cotton, this lady has been my style crush since i was about 8, honestly. I think the way she styles rock chic with a girly edge is entirely inspiring and makes me run to grab my black skinnies. Leather jackets are the one thing i think i will still be wearing well into old age, i think they are timeless and make every outfit so-much-better. It's one of the one things i will wear every single season and will never let me down. Heeled ankle boots are a MUST for my wardrobe in winter, i feel like they make me feel more mature but in a good way. In summer my style is a bit more colourful and a bit younger actually than my winter looks but i feel much more comfortable in my A/W get-up. My best friend has just had her hair done almost exactly like this and i'm SO jealous, i wish i could pull of the Fearne barnett.

And onto one of my hearted women of all time, Mary Kate Olsen. This girl as the wardrobe i could only dream of and more, and the legs also. I have been in love with this picture for about two years, yes it's not current but it's SO fashion forward, which is what i love about MK, she is always ahead of trends and setting them. I chose this photo in particular because this is basically a staple look for me minus the huge gorgeous shoes. I would go for the healed anke boots instead but i must have about 9 plaid shirts by now, they're sort of my obsession, in all shapes and colours, some i like loose like this and others i like fitted but still a good length etc, all vintage too because they really do have the best patterns. Leggings will always be a go to item for me because i really do love comfort, i'm forever in a baggy band tee, leggings of some sort and a leather jacket, it's like my comfort blanket! Tragic, i know.
So! I hope you have found this a little interesting, lots and lots of love Evexo

Here's just a little insight into my make-up, i don't usually do make-up related things but i wanted to show you guys anyway! This is the stuff i wear daily which you see me wearing on all my photos (and a different lip colour sometimes) i also often wear liquid eyeliner but it was hiding when i took these but thats collection 2000 also i think. As you can tell, i like it cheap and cheerful haha. As much as i would love to own MAC products and spend £25 on my foundation my funds sadly do not stretch that far and even when they do i cringe at the idea of spending that much money on make-up! One day maybe! Lots of love evexo

My ring collection!

Hello once again! So i thought i'd do a little interesting post today with my rings! It seems like my collection has really bulked up recently because everyone knows i'm on a ring binge and keeps buying me them which is awesome! SO, i have a fair few to show but I've organised them so that there sort of in groups? I'll add a little description with each picture like where i got them from etc, i probably won't remember the price of anything of them though but none are over like £8 haha! Love EVEXO

Family Portrait! (There aren't all my rings, just the ones i wear the most really!

Firstly, sorry about the weird background, i used a sketchbook so they would stand out.. aha.
My gold collection L-R: Blue stone : ASOS, Triangle : Topshop, Pyramid style : Topshop, Tall Triangles : Topshop, Green Stone : Vintage, Two rings with crosses: Topshop, Bird rings: Topshop.

ALL these silver rings are from LLYMLRS

Other silver bits L-R: Rose: Accessorize, Triangles: Topshop, Four rings - I made myself!! (real silver)

I put these together because they all came in a set thing! (apart from the red/brown skull on the left, i just didn't know where else to put it!) All from Topshop, a birthday present from my best friend Millie!

MODELS OWN @ CSL

Bag included and inside: Pink lip gloss, clear lip gloss, pink and blue duo eye shadow, black glitter nail varnish, bronze and gold duo eye shadow, blue eye shadow dust, purple eye shadow dust, 'disco' pink/purple/blue nail varnish, gold glitter nail varnish, red lip liner, orange lip liner, peach lip balm, ultra waterproof mascara, nail buff.

So, at the CLOTHES SHOW LIVE I decided to pick up a Models Own goody bag, the deal was you chose three items (they had all their stock out so you could choose absoloutly anything regardless of price) then you got a bag with 12 pieces of other free stuff, all for £10! I thought this deal was actually incredible. Their polishes are sold at £5 each normally so even getting 3 of those was worth it without all the cool stuff you received then in the bag! I'll admit that not all of it i'll wear, for example the pink and blue duel eye shadow just isn't to my taste but I know I can put it in a present for a friend for example, the same with the pink lip gloss, it's a really lovely gloss but pale pink really doesn't suit me at all, but again, perfect to give to a friend! All the other stuff is amazing, I also got a really cool gold eye liner which is sort of like a felt pen which I annoyingly forgot to photograph but that is so lovely, I really love gold right now, maybe it's the Christmas spirit in me! I was glad to see they had slightly co-ordinated the stuff in my bag, some thought must have gone into each one when they were packing them all up because I got 2 gold items, 3 pink and 2 blue which I don't think is co-incidental! I think (emphasis on think!!) that this may have been their first time at CSL but they by FAR had the best deal out of all of the other cosmetic companies there! Rimmel are usually my go-to for cosmetic goody bag there but this year I was really disappointed with what they had to offer, again it was priced at £10 but you only had two choices of things either one set with certain things in or another and usually you have three choices, colours and stuff varies, as do the Models Own bags but it all seemed a bit samey. Every year I've bought the Rimmel bag (4 times now) and I've always thought it was incredibly value for money but this year, for me, seemed a bit half arsed. You only got, like, 6 items I think? One mascara, a couple of small nail varnishes and some lipstick or something but I wasn't drawn to it at all. I think the clincher for me with the Models Own was the pick your 3 first, I chose the 3 nail varnishes because I knew a nail varnish wasn't already in the bag and I've been eyeing up Models Own nail varnishes now for a few months but the price has always put me off because I didn't know whether they were worth the money, trust me, they so are. I've tried out all 3 of mine and they're SO GOOD. I've got the gold on my fingers now and it dries so fast, only takes two coats for full glitter coverage and the fincal thing looks so pretty. I think my favourite has to be the disco one, I put it on my toe nails for 'fun' ha, and it looks even better than it does in the bottle! I was tempted to post a picture but then again i wasn't too sure about having a photo of my feet on my blog, maybe a step to far in the personal direction ha! Over all I can't think of enough complimentary things to say about this bag, maybe there was an element of luck in getting the colour items that I did but in terms of value for money, it's a seriously great idea (all items together were worth £85, mad.) so if you're going later on in the week (finishes on Wednesday!) I would get one or if you want to take the plunge with Models Own but have been put off the price, i'd say it's well worth it for those special nail varnishes. I know i'm a fashion blogger by name but I thought this was worth doing really, it just seemed like a good thing to tell you guys about so I hope you don't mind me delving into beauty for a post or two! I won't do regular make-up haul posts or anything because frankly I don't think it would be interesting enough! (i'm more maybelline than illamasqua) ANYHOW, hope you enjoyed my double dosage of postage today (ha) and i'll be back soon! LOVE XOXOXO

CLOTHES SHOW 2011

So these where the basics of my outfit! I got this jumper last week in Bristol's Urban Outfitters in their Renewal section or £30 which I thought was rather reasonable! The Leather Shorts are from Freshman's in Sheffield that I bought this summer and the shoes are about 2 year old brogues from New Look! I had a few jewellery bits and bobs that I forgot to photograph, sorry! Also I apologise for the pictures, my camera is dying a death and the focus is terrible! Time for a new one I think. Here are the items I bought at the CSL:

I AM SO SORRY ABOUT THE PHOTOS! ALL THE DIFFERENT BACKGROUNDS AND LIGHTING ETC, I'M JUST TRYING TO FIND THE BEST PLACE FOR PHOTOGRAPHING!
These are the things I bought yesterday! Pictured first is a vintage scarf I got for £5 which I thought was very good value, its a thick scarf as well so I was very pleased! Second item is a vintage jumper from a different stall called Oh So Retro for £15 (very good value!!) which I LOVE! I don't think that the picture does it justice entirely because it's a bit darker than that in person! As you may have guessed I am a bit obsessed with jumpers with sparkle, this is my third, ha. The T-shirt I think is amazing, its cute and really individual, it cost me £15 and they had the best t-shirts ever frankly, it was a toss up between getting this one or one with Vivienne Westwood on the front (i heart her). I didn't catch the name of the stall, there's a label on the back saying 'gypsy lane' but i googled it and got nothing so i'm really annoyed about that because I want loads more of these! I'll just have to hope they're there next year and buy like ten. Here are two rings I bought, I got the black and white one from the same stall as the scarf and that was £3 which is a steal! I got the green stone one which i'm in love with and the seal necklace below for £10, there was this amazing stall that had SO much vintage jewellery it was incredible, it was 2 for £10 or individually £7, every piece was different and I litterally could have bought the whole stall! I love this seal necklace, I saw it and though OMG THAT'S SO CUTE and that was it, there was no stopping me! Anyhow this is my 'haul' hope you like the items! Below is a bit more background on my day!

So as you know from above I went to the Clothes Show Live 2011 yesterday, for some people
who might not know what it is, it's basically a huge event held in Birmingham's NEC arena which is ridiculously huge and all kinds of clothing brands and small shops, private boutiques, cosmetic companies etc etc all go and have a stall there and sell their stuff for (usually) discounted prices! There's also a live catwalk show where designers who, some of which, are at the show, get to put their items down the runway. It's hard to describe if you haven't been but there's always a theme to it and there's a group of dancers and a group of models who are in the show and it's usually a pretty fantastic. This years I think has to be my favourite, mainly because i fell in love with one of the male models! If any of you watch 90210, he looked like Liam!! who is amazingly gorgeous. also BB from Dirty, Sexy Things was modelling who is also rather hot. Kimberly Wyatt also performed which was kinda cool and the hottest of them all Mr George Lamb presented, swoon! So kudos for that! The stalls seemed 100x better this year than ever before! They have the usual brands like Superdry, Bench, Punky Fish, Paul's Boutique etc but I never bother looking at them because they're clothing really isn't my thing! Two years ago when i went they had one big vintage stall go which I got nearly everything I bought that day from! I was very pleased to see they had formed a vintage market section in the 'boutique' section of the arena so there were many amazing vintage stalls! Above I've pictured what I wore firstly, sadly me and my sister had a bit of a rush to get out the door and A. forgot to take a picture of myself to show you guys and B. forgot to take the cameras to the actual show... very silly. Though on arriving it said that no photography was allowed but I would have tried a nifty snap anyway but oh well, if you go on the Clothes Show Live website i'm sure it'll give you a clearer idea of what it's like! I've also posted the stuff I bought and shortly after this will post a separate post on Model's Own (a goody bag style thing I bought whilst I was there!
